Joining modern technolgy and data visualization with the ancient processe of mandala sand painting to express the scaling of time and linear dimensions
The work was created during a 30 day "endurance perfromance" at the Invisible Dog Art Center in Brooklyn,NY
The piece was destroyed during the final performance
Process
Work was created using ancient tools and materials. Using hand made tools and hand dyed powdered marble. The image was based on raw data from a particle collision event (curtesy of Femi National Laboratory)
